when in rome...

I AM IN ITALY!

And I have nothing. Freakin’ Delta lost my baggage. Not left it behind. Lost. Cool, huh?
Yeah I know.

I am good though. I am surviving. There are 23 other girls. This is totally do-able.

I left Kansas City (with my baggage) Friday morning and arrive to Atlanta (maybe with my baggage) and met Erika in the airport. We flew to Rome I arrived in Rome at 9.00 am on Saturday morning (without my baggage). Peter met us in the Airport and took us to the Hotel.

Saturday we walked from our hotel to the Colossum, the Forum and we took the Subway back to the hotel. It was like 2-3 miles.

This morning we all met for church and went to an Italian ward. That was way cool. The missionaries offered to translate for us but we wanted to listen in Italian. After church a few of us went to St. Peters Square and sat/drew. Then we went in the Basilica and climbed up to the top. It was 521 stairs. The view was gorgeous!

rome sends love.

p.s. the gelato was great!
